DogHush ("we", "our", or the "app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used. By using DogHush you agree to this policy.
DogHush uses your device's microphone to listen for the sound of a dog barking so it can respond automatically. Audio from the microphone is analyzed in real time on your device only. It is never recorded, saved, or transmitted to us or any third party. The microphone is used solely to detect barking while the app is active, and you can revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings.
If you record a calming sound for DogHush to play back, that recording is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to us or shared with anyone. Deleting the app or the recording removes it from your device.
DogHush does not require an account. We do not collect your name, contacts, photos, precise location, or browsing history. App preferences and settings are stored locally on your device.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple's privacy policy governs payment information.
DogHush uses a subscription management provider (RevenueCat) to process purchases and validate subscription status. It handles a random app-generated identifier and purchase data, and does not receive your name, contacts, or audio.
DogHush is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
You control your data: revoke microphone access in your device settings, delete recordings in the app, and manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
